Its great to see how satisfied and amazed the students are with what they learned so quickly. All their mounts look great. The best thing that I hear is when they get home and say the mount they did here is better than any mount they paid for from their local taxidermist. I am proud to say we have students from Canada to Georgia and NYC to Arizona begining their own businesses just from what they learned here. Whitetail Class Students

My husband and I just completed our four day whitetail course, I can honestly say that it was by far one of the best experiences of our lives! With 60+ years of combined experience Bill and Ed are both extremely knowledgeable and were very helpful throughout the course. The course is completely hands-on with Bill and Ed there to guide you every step of the way. They not only taught us how to mount a deer in four days but they gave us invaluable information on how to run our own taxidermy business.
I was nervous about the course, being that I had absolutely no prior experience with taxidermy, but that nervousness was gone the moment I walked in the door. Bill and Ed made each student feel very welcome and by having a small class size, each student was able to get the individualized attention that they needed. Any question that myself, my husband or the other students had were answered and answered in a way that we could all understand. Although I was excited to get my mount done, I hated to leave. We had both thought of going to taxidermy school in PA that would have taken us several months to complete, but thought of trying Anderson' s first...we are so glad we did! Whether you are looking to get into the business, mount your own trophies or just looking for a new adventure, I highly recommend Anderson's Whitetail Taxidermy School...you won't be disappointed.

Buffalo NY I signed up for Anderson's school of taxidermy with the thought I would do some of my own mounts in the future and with the instruction received there feel confident in being able to do so. The biggest thing I learned there is that it is not easy work. You have got to love it to do it for a living! The most pleasant revelation was that it did not involve a lot of stinky, messy and dangerous chemicals as I had feared. Taxidermy has come a long way since the day of the "urine cured" hides. Anderson's "watch them do" approach gives you immediate hands on experience and with the small classes you have the ability to ask any question and get an immediate answer which in turn helps the whole class. I was pleased with the education I got there and plan to use it to mount at least a half dozen specimens from my recent African trip.uffalo NYBuffalo NY I signed up for Anderson's school of taxidermy with the thought I would do some of my own mounts in the future and with the instruction received there feel confident in being able to do so. Recent student Jason Dewitt from New York wrote on fourm in Taxidermy Net. This past week I attended Andersons Whitetail Taxidermy School in western NY. I couldn't be happier with the knowledge I came home with, as well as all the tools and supplies I got to bring home! I work full time, and personally I don't have the time or the money to go thru a full taxidermy course, so this week long course was perfect for me! We started out monday morning on measuring, cape cutting, and fleshing. Bill and Ed Anderson were great teachers and it was very personable. And very patient with shaky fleshers like me haha. We did everything hands on, setting the eyes, rebuilding the ears, splitting the lips, everything I needed to know with mounting a whitetail. Every question I had was answered, and by the end of the week I took home my very first whitetail mount that I did on my own. We covered everything from pickling and tanning to repairing the holes I made fleshing to the detail painting. I would highly recommend this course. If your from out of town, there is good lodging not too far away with everything you could need resturants wal-mart etc. I hated the week to be over with, but it was a great feeling walking away with the knowledge that Bill and Ed shared with us. They have a website whitetailtaxidermyschool.com, and if any of you have any specific questions just pm me and I will get back to you.Recent student Jason Dewitt from New York wrote on fourm in Taxidermy Net. Buffalo NY I just finish the class, and have already gotten many complements on my mount. The class was all I hoped for and then some. Bill and Ed know the business, and are happy to share as much as you can absorb. If you are looking to get into the business or just a weekend warrior like myself this is the class. It is much more than just how to mount a deer head, you can apply this to many other species as well.
